Yes, with our Galaxy Watch 8 / 9 adapter. Watch 8, 8 Classic, and Watch 9 all use Samsung’s Dynamic Lug; the adapter converts it to a standard quick-release in 20 mm or 22 mm (match your band).

Do you offer 22 mm bands?

Yes—many designs still come in 22 mm. 22 mm fits larger legacy models like Galaxy Watch (46 mm, 2018), Galaxy Watch3 (45 mm), and Gear S3. If this product has a 22 mm option, select it from the Band Width dropdown. Using Watch 8 or Watch 9? Add our adapter in the 22 mm size to wear 22 mm bands on Watch 8 / 8 Classic / Watch 9.

How do I choose between 20 mm and 22 mm?

Rule of thumb: most newer Samsung models are 20 mm (Watch7/6/5/4, Watch5 Pro). Older large cases (46–45 mm) use 22 mm. Check your current band's underside for the printed width, your watch manual, or use our Samsung Sizing Guide.

Can I swim or work out in this band?

⚠️ Proprietary Band System

The Galaxy Watch Ultra uses its own proprietary connector — a different system from the Dynamic Lug on the Watch 8 and Watch 9, so our Watch 8 / 9 adapter will not fit it. Standard 20 mm or 22 mm bands won’t fit directly either. We don't currently carry Ultra-specific bands or adapters, but our 20 mm Samsung bands work with an Ultra adapter (sold separately by third-party sellers).

1Wrap a flexible tape measure (or a strip of paper) around your wrist where you normally wear your watch.

2Note the measurement. If using paper, mark where it overlaps, then lay it flat against a ruler.

3Match to your band size: Under 6.7” → S/M. Over 6.3” → M/L. In between? Either works — S/M for snug, M/L for relaxed.

Tip: Measure at the end of the day when your wrist is slightly larger. This ensures a comfortable fit at all times.

Common Questions

How do I know if my Samsung watch uses 20 mm or 22 mm?

Check the back of your current band or look up your model in the Galaxy Wearable app under About. Most newer Samsung watches (Watch 4 through Watch 7) use 20 mm. Older 46 mm watches, Watch 3 45 mm, and Gear S3 use 22 mm. The Galaxy Watch 8, 8 Classic, and Watch 9 use Samsung’s Dynamic Lug and need our adapter. The Galaxy Watch Ultra uses a different proprietary connector and needs an Ultra-specific adapter.

Will Fancy Bands work with the Galaxy Watch 8 or Watch 9?

Yes! Samsung changed the band connector on the Watch 8 series and kept the same Dynamic Lug on the Watch 9, but our Watch 8 / 9 Adapter lets you use any Fancy Bands strap on the Watch 8, 8 Classic, or Watch 9. Just pick the adapter that matches your band width (20 mm or 22 mm) and you are set.

What is the difference between S/M and M/L?

S/M fits wrists 5.5”–6.7” (140–170 mm) and M/L fits 6.3”–8.1” (160–206 mm). There is overlap in the middle — if you are between sizes, S/M gives a snugger fit and M/L gives more slack.
