If your case says "42 mm":

Series 10–11 (2024–2026): choose the Small connector family (38/40/41/42).
Series 1–3 (2015–2017): choose the Large connector family (42/44/45/46/49).

S/M and M/L wrist sizing applies to silicone & nylon bands. Steel, link, and Milanese bands are one-size with adjustable links — just pick the right connector family above.

How to Measure Your Wrist

Wrap a flexible tape measure (or a strip of paper) around your wrist where you normally wear your watch.

Note the measurement. If using paper, mark where it overlaps, then lay it flat against a ruler.

Match to your band size: Under 7.1” (180mm) → S/M. Over 6.3” (160mm) → M/L. In between? Either works — S/M for snug, M/L for relaxed.

Tip: Measure at the end of the day when your wrist is slightly larger. This ensures a comfortable fit at all times.

Do Series 10–11 bands work with earlier models?

Yes—band compatibility follows the two connector families above. Match your case size to the correct family (Small or Large), regardless of series number.

Does Ultra use a different connector?

No. Ultra (49 mm) uses the Large connector family.

Can I exchange if I choose the wrong size?

Can I use a 45mm band on a 44mm Apple Watch?

Yes! 44mm, 45mm, 46mm, and 49mm bands all use the same Large connector family and are fully interchangeable. A band labeled “45mm” will fit your 44mm Apple Watch perfectly.

What size Apple Watch band do I need for a woman?

Most women’s wrists measure between 5.1” and 6.7” (130–170mm), which fits the S/M band size. If you’re between sizes or prefer a looser fit, M/L works too — and we offer free exchanges if it’s not right.

How do I know if I need S/M or M/L?

Wrap a flexible tape measure around your wrist. Under 7.1” (180mm) → go with S/M. Over 6.3” (160mm) → go with M/L. If you’re in the overlap zone (6.3–7.1”), either size works — S/M for snug, M/L for a relaxed fit.

Do Apple Watch SE 3 bands fit the original SE?

Yes. All Apple Watch SE models (SE, SE 2, and SE 3) use the same 40mm and 44mm case sizes with identical connectors. Any band that fits one SE fits them all.

The magnet on the band is too weak to hold the watch in place. It loosens as you move your arm so much that your watch could fall off!

Milanese Loop Band For Apple Watch Multiple Prints Available
I discovered this type of band for my Apple Watch several years ago. I love it because I have a small wrist and this makes it easy to adjust. I got both a print and a neutral. For me these are perfect. The band adheres to itself which also makes it easy to put on and adjust. Just a perfect band in my eyes.
