If your case says "42 mm":

Series 10, 11 & 12 (2024–2026): choose the Small connector family (38/40/41/42).
Series 1–3 (2015–2017): choose the Large connector family (42/44/45/46/49).

S/M and M/L wrist sizing applies to silicone & nylon bands. Steel, link, and Milanese bands are one-size with adjustable links — just pick the right connector family above.

How to Measure Your Wrist

Wrap a flexible tape measure (or a strip of paper) around your wrist where you normally wear your watch.

Note the measurement. If using paper, mark where it overlaps, then lay it flat against a ruler.

Match to your band size: Under 7.1” (180mm) → S/M. Over 6.3” (160mm) → M/L. In between? Either works — S/M for snug, M/L for relaxed.

Tip: Measure at the end of the day when your wrist is slightly larger. This ensures a comfortable fit at all times.

Common questions

Do your bands fit the new Apple Watch Series 12?

Yes. Apple Watch Series 12 comes in 42 mm and 46 mm — the same case sizes as Series 10 and 11 — and uses the same band connector. Every Fancy Bands strap fits it. Choose the Small family (38/40/41/42) for the 42 mm Series 12, or the Large family (42/44/45/46/49) for the 46 mm Series 12.

Do your bands fit the new Apple Watch Ultra 4?

Yes. Apple Watch Ultra 4 is 49 mm, the same as Ultra 1, 2 and 3, and uses the Large connector family (42/44/45/46/49). Any band that fits an earlier Ultra fits the Ultra 4.

Do Series 10–12 bands work with earlier models?

Yes—band compatibility follows the two connector families above. Match your case size to the correct family (Small or Large), regardless of series number.

Does Ultra use a different connector?

No. Ultra (49 mm), including Ultra 4, uses the Large connector family.

Can I exchange if I choose the wrong size?

Can I use a 45mm band on a 44mm Apple Watch?

Yes! 44mm, 45mm, 46mm, and 49mm bands all use the same Large connector family and are fully interchangeable. A band labeled “45mm” will fit your 44mm Apple Watch perfectly.

What size Apple Watch band do I need for a woman?

Most women’s wrists measure between 5.1” and 6.7” (130–170mm), which fits the S/M band size. If you’re between sizes or prefer a looser fit, M/L works too — and we offer free exchanges if it’s not right.

How do I know if I need S/M or M/L?

My wrist is 6.7 inches, which should be right in the range for this size and it’s too tight. I was able to tie the string so I can wear it but it’s not comfortable. The band does look nice

Western Turquoise Bohemian Wrapsody Bracelet Band For Apple Watch
It’s beautiful and I love it but the watch does not stay tight enough against the wrist so it’s loose and then the watch locks. It’s not practical to have to enter the code to unlock the watch every time I need to use it. I’ve tried tightening it but it eventually loosens up again.
